Annual Business Meeting
 

August 22, 2014 / 5:00 P.M.
Tom Pearce Park, Grants Pass, OR

 

  1. CALL TO ORDER/INTRODUCTIONS
 
  • Social Hour and BBQ from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM
  • Chapter President, Charles Chase, called the meeting to order at 6:45 P.M.
  • Members and guests in attendance: Charles Chase, Nannette Chase, Ted Zuk, Kathy Zuk, Audra Wonsyld, Lynda Wulf, Chad Wiltrout, Mary Montague and spouse, Kyle Ward and spouse, Michele Johnson, Dale Bohannon and son, Jay Stine, Mark Stevens, Michael Morter and family, and Dennis Richey.
 
II.   APPROVAL OF MINUTES
 
 
  • Dale Bohannon made a motion to approve the July minutes as presented and Dennis Richey seconded the motion. Motion passed.
 
IV. REPORTS FROM OFFICERS
 
 
  • Operating Report - Ted Zuk read the operating report for July2014. Ending balance of $3,829.13. Also indicated that there last year’s chapter rewards and our annual ICC report has been filed on time for our 2015 rewards.

  • None
 
VI. NEW BUSINESS
 
 
  • Induction of New Officers: Michael Morter from BCD administered the Oath of Office to the new officers – Ted Zuk President, Jay Stine, Vice President, Mark Stevens, Secretary, and Dennis Richey, Treasurer
  • Charlie handed off the gavel to the new President.  Ted thanked Charlie and Nannette for the hard work they put in behind the scenes and the devotion they had during their term in office. He shared his ideas for the future for outreach to the HBA, design professionals in educational classes. Ted also praised Charlie for his outreach to the Fire community and agreed this should be continued forward.
  • The Parade of Past Presidents Plaque was presented to Charlie with his named engraved and also noted the Chapter presented a gift of appreciation to Charlie and Nannette for a stay at the Whaleshead Resort in Brookings.
 
VII.      CORRESPONDENCE
 
  • None submitted.
VII. OPEN DISCUSSION
 
  • Charlie thanked everyone for their support and will be involved as a past president and will continue on with fire community involvement.
  • There was discussion on raffling off the $100.00 ICC products the Chapter has as part of its ICC rewards program but no motions were made.
 
VIII.     NEXT MEETING
 
 
  • The next meeting will be at the Community Justice Building first floor meeting room on Sept. 26th at noon.
 
VIIII. MEETING ADJOURNED
 
 
  • Nannette Chase made a motion to close the meeting and Dale Bohannon seconded the motion. Motion passed. The President adjourned the meeting at 8:15 P.M.
